Jason Ralph Martin is a Canadian singer-songwriter, guitarist, and multi-disciplinary music professional based in Ajax, Ontario. Born and raised in Lamaline, Newfoundland, he has worked as a recording and mixing engineer, music publisher, and producer, developing a versatile catalogue across country, bluegrass, folk/Newfoundland/Celtic, and country gospel genres.
Jason began performing at age 12 and later fronted two bands before launching his solo career. His debut studio album, Our Newfoundland, was released in 2018, followed by a growing collection of singles including Our Love Is Alive, Slow It Down, What Flying Really Means, Another Lonely Day, Big City Country Blues, He Makes The Day, Saltwater Hands, Lamaline, Berry Pickin’ Time, and Those Bloody Roundabouts. His music has been recorded at both 416 Audio Productions in Toronto and his own JRM Studio, with songs written by Jason alongside his father and family members.
Known for his distinct vocal tone and engaging stage presence, Jason delivers performances that reflect his Newfoundland roots and lifelong passion for music.
