Jason Ralph Martin is an Canadian singer-songwriter, guitarist, recording engineer, mixing engineer, music publisher and record producer. He was born and raised in Lamaline, Newfoundland, and now resides in Ajax, Ontario. As a vocalist, Jason has sang lead in two bands before he started recording as a solo artist. His first studio album Our Newfoundland was released in February 2018 and he has released multiple and will continue to release multiple country, bluegrass, folk/Newfoundland/celtic, and country Gospel singles with dedicated albums in each genre still yet to come. Current releases include Our Love Is Alive, Slow It Down, What Flying Really Means, Another Lonely Day, Big City Country Blues, He Makes The Day, Realizing The Dream, Saltwater Hands, Lamaline, Berry Pickin' Time, Those Bloody Roundabouts, We Thank You For Our Newfoundland and more to come  Some were recorded at 416 Audio Productions out of Toronto as well as his home studio JRM Studio and all songs have by written by Jason, his father and other family members.

 

Jason came onto the music scene when he was about 12 years old.  He comes from a family who has a great love for country and east coast Newfoundland music and he can remember how he learned how to play guitar sitting around with his father and his uncles just watching their every move. As a lead vocalist he will keep your toes tapping all night and you will want to come back for more. Jason has a very distinct vocal tone which is aptly suited for the style of songs he brings to the table.
